Role Description As a Senior QS Mechanical Engineer at Atrium Quality Contractors, your responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, analyzing project requirements, and ensuring efficient use of resources for mechanical systems in construction projects. You will oversee the preparation of project tenders and contracts, review technical designs and specifications, and monitor progress on-site to ensure compliance with project plans and quality standards. Collaboration with internal teams, architects, and contractors will be essential to optimize project performance and cost-effectiveness. This is a full-time on-site position located in Cairo, Egypt. Qualifications Expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles effectively in construction projects.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for developing detailed technical designs and drawings.Strong Project Management skills to lead and coordinate various project activities, ensuring timely and cost-efficient completion.Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to contribute innovative solutions to challenges in construction and mechanical systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside attention to detail and the ability to manage complex projects.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with relevant certifications being an advantage.Prior experience in high-profile or complex construction projects is desirable.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
