As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases. You will identify and document defects, work with your development team peers to resolve issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will help us deliver high-quality products that exceed our users' expectations.Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and provide clear and concise reports.Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and tools.Potentially contribute to performance testing and security testing efforts.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.  Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and techniques.Proven ability to design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Preferred Qualifications:  Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Terms:100% remote environment with flexible working hours. Your schedule should still be reasonably predictable and responsiveness in communications is a must. You should be able to provide at least 3 hours overlap with the EST time zone.A stable internet connection and videoconferencing capability is required (with camera on).
