We have one of the largest distribution networks with local services in more than 34 countries across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.We are currently looking for go-getters to join our team for the following role:Title: Sales Engineer / Senior Sales EngineerIndustry: Oil & Gas - EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)Function: SalesReporting to: Sales ManagerLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesAbout the JobAs a Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) business division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in energy, petrochemicals, and related sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling to EPC companies, managing the bidding and tendering process, and fostering strong relationships to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong business acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to operate independently to meet business objectives.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Identify, evaluate, and secure opportunities with EPC companies in energy, petrochemicals, and related sectors to drive revenue growth.Tender & RFQ Management: Oversee the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely submission of required documentation.Sourcing & Procurement: Identify suitable partners/suppliers and manage sourcing and procurement activities as required by EPC project specifications.Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations on pricing, supply agreements, credit terms, and NDAs to optimize business outcomes.Technical Support: Analyze customer requirements and provide tailored, application-based solutions to meet their needs.Pipeline Management: Maintain and track a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups and successful deal closures.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Experience: 3 to 5+ years of sales, trading or business development experience, preferably in the EPC or energy sector.Industry Knowledge: Strong network and proven experience in supplier sourcing, partner development, and procurement aligned with EPC project requirementsTechnical Expertise: Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and industrial solutions.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies while consistently achieving sales targets.Proficient in Microsoft 365.
