Senior Sales Executive - Commercial & Growth LeadershipRole DescriptionSlalom is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and commercially minded Senior Sales Executive to help shape and grow our New Zealand practice. This is not a role for order takers — we’re looking for someone who can combine relationship strength with structure, discipline, and accountability to deliver growth in a dynamic market.Our Sales Executives are collaborators, networkers, and revenue drivers. They’re passionate about technology and innovation, thrive in a people-based culture, and are relentless in turning client opportunity into measurable business outcomes.What You’ll DoOwn and deliver a clear sales plan, including disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and commercial rigour.Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities with both existing and new clients.Lead end-to-end pursuits — from shaping client needs and building proposals, through to negotiations and deal closure.Translate client challenges into structured solutions with defined scope, commercials, and delivery models.Drive pace: progress deals proactively, bring in the right experts at the right time, and ensure clear internal alignment.Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders grounded in trust, transparency, and delivery.What You’ll BringYou’ll be a deal maker, not an order taker and bring the following experiences:A proven track record of consistent target attainment ($multi-million+) in business and digital transformation consulting or technology sales.Deep network of business leaders in New Zealand, ideally across sectors such as energy, financial services, insurance, or public sector.Experience using structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, or equivalent) to qualify, shape, and close complex deals.Strong commercial acumen — adept at negotiating contracts and balancing client advocacy with business outcomes.Highly organised and proactive; you set clear plans, prioritise effectively, and don’t wait to be chased.Strong communicator who articulates expected outcomes and next steps clearly, internally and externally.Natural collaborator who knows when to lean on relationships and when to lean on structure and numbers.A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity but brings clarity and accountability to others.How You'll SucceedYou combine entrepreneurial drive with commercial discipline.You balance empathy with rigour, collaboration with ownership.You thrive in ambiguity, but always bring structure and clarity to your clients and team.You model accountability — for yourself and others — and embrace tough conversations when needed.About SlalomSlalom is a fiercely human consulting company focused on end-to-end business transformation enabled by technology.
