Job Description

We are looking for Senior Service Engineer to ensure complex installation, maintenance and repair on customer installed base of complex Foxboro DCS Systems. Identify new opportunities while attending customer sites to promote Services growth. Knowledge transfer within Services Field domain with a coordination role. May report to Service Delivery Manager on potential commercial risk or opportunities and /or on customer service needs with evaluation and analysis. Responsibilities Provide Services to the assigned customers and perform site activities for assigned projects under the supervision of Service Delivery Manager.Engineering & DesignGood experience of project documentation & deliverables, and customer standard & project specifications.Advanced knowledge of the Hardware & Software Parts, Design Requirements, System Sizing requirements etc. Should be fully aware about WW Historian on Foxboro, CHMI, AIM*, OPC, FDC/FCP/FDSI.Application DevelopmentImplemented control strategies / Logic requirements, database processing, Human Machine Interface / Graphical Interface, 3rd Party communications. Knowledge of CHMI, FDCN, Cyber Security Basics is a must.Implemented other applications like System Advisor, Asset Management, Alarm Management etc. as per the scope of the project.TestingPerformed project testing, system staging, set-up, Pre-Factory Acceptance test (Pre-FAT), Factory acceptance test (FAT) and Integrated Factory Acceptance TestingGood knowledge of quality verification of documents, drawings, and application developmentTrouble ShootingAdvanced knowledge of trouble shooting of the system he/she handles and tools like DiagRead / Tel file, Wire Shark or similar as applicable.Advanced knowledge of Ferret files, GCS, Patch files, Firmware, Fixes etc.Advanced knowledge of Trouble shooting guidelines in product manuals etc.Shall be able to guide Service Engineers.Past work experience in Petrochemicals , Oil & Gas is a must.Field experience of at least 5 years.Site ActivitiesPerformed site survey, installation verification, Loop testing, start-up, and commissioning.Performed Site Acceptance Test (SAT).Comply with Health and Safety guidelines and work in accordance with company / SE HSE procedures. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical or Electronics or Equivalent.Experience: 10 Yrs. as SE in SE or 12 Yrs. from Contract or other similar industries primarily with Foxboro DCS.Domain Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Gas Plants, Water Plants, is essential.Standard’s Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of international standards like IEC, ISA, API etc. as applicable for the domain of work.Site Requirements: Advanced Knowledge of Permit to work, HSE, Safety Guards, Site Pass etc. is essentialCompetancy Requirments:Communicate effectively and Technical Writing.Advanced knowledge of Technical Issues, Trouble shooting and ResolutionAdvanced knowledge of use of Tools and TechniquesAdvanced knowledge of P&ID, IO’s, Standards, Specifications, Advanced knowledge of Plant Process, Control or Safety requirements, Control or ESD System PhilosophyAdvanced knowledge of Hazardous Area Requirements is must.Cyber security awareness and complianceRefer SE competency profiles for relevant SE competency requirementsWonderware knowledge & experience will be added advantageBehaviour & Personality:Reporting to Service Delivery Manager.Adherence to Schedule & Timing.Taking responsibility for assign tasks/works.Work carefully, good observation capability.Comply SE Guidelines and Organizational requirements.  Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?When you are thinking about joining a new team, culture matters.
