Senior Site Engineer – Residential & Commercial Projects (West of Ireland)Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to take ownership on site and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the West of Ireland. This is a hands-on, senior position where you will contribute directly to project delivery while joining a forward-thinking company that values leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement.Role Responsibilities:Lead on-site engineering activities, ensuring all work meets design, programme, and quality requirements.Contribute to the site leadership team, supporting project planning, programme coordination, and quality control.Collaborate with the wider project team to manage and communicate technical information effectively.Maintain accurate site records and documentation using Procore (training provided).Supervise subcontractors, monitoring workmanship quality and compliance with design specifications.Ensure all activities adhere to project-specific quality plans, ISO standards, and health & safety regulations.Review technical drawings and documents, providing input at site meetings.Manage project close-out procedures, including warranties, sign-offs, and handover documentation.Mentor junior engineers and foster skills development across the site team.What’s on Offer:Competitive salary package.Work primarily on local projects in the West of Ireland.Full-time, permanent role with clear career progression opportunities.Funded CPD and training programmes to support professional development.Health cash plans, pension contributions, and wellbeing initiatives.A supportive and inclusive team environment.Flexible start date: ASAP or early 2026.Candidate Requirements:Degree-qualified Engineer with 5+ years’ site-based experience (main contracting preferred).Strong ability in setting out, surveying, and temporary works.Solid understanding of Irish construction practices and Health & Safety legislation.Excellent coordination, communication, and site supervision skills.Proficient in MS Office and CAD; experience with document control systems is advantageous.Full, clean Irish driving licence.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their CV via Indeed.
