You’ll work closely with international clients, internal teams, and leadership to deliver seamless, high-quality mobile solutionsRoleBuild and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and supporting frameworks.Shape mobile architecture and enforce best practices in development, security, and scalability.Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive and user-friendly mobile experiences.Guide authentication, crash monitoring, analytics, and app store deployment/review processes.Actively participate in problem-solving discussions and client conversations, providing clear and practical solutions.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure product quality.Contribute to creating a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.Become an ambassador of Villvay’s values when representing the company to its stakeholders.Core Requirements3+ years in mobile development, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity.A degree in Computer Science or a related field.Expertise in React, React Native, TypeScript, and Expo.Proven experience with mobile authentication flows (OIDC, JWT, token-based systems).Familiarity with Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, BAAS).Hands-on experience publishing apps to Google Play and App Store.Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest along with React Testing Library.Proficient understanding of Git.Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to engage with international clients.A keen eye for UI/UX and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.Self-driven, adaptable, and a team player who values diverse perspectives.Good understanding of SOLID/OOP concepts.Clear understanding in mobile app development best practices such as Apple's Humen Interface Guidelines.Added AdvantagesKnowledge of native mobile development or Flutter.Backend experience with PHP, Node.js, or Java.Exposure to framework thinking and building reusable systems.Experience in project-based/servicing environments with global clients.Familiarity with CI/CD tools for mobile apps.Experince in web application development (with React or Next.js)Villvay is an equal opportunity employer.
