Senior Solutions Engineer (Transformer)

We are expanding our footprint in Africa and seeking a technical expert to support our growth in the region.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide pre-sales technical support and develop customized solutions for power distribution and new energy transformer projects across Africa.Perform technical selection, parameter configuration, and system design based on client requirements and local grid conditions.Prepare technical sections of bidding documents, including technical proposals, drawings, and product specifications.Conduct site surveys to assess installation conditions and provide actionable technical recommendations.Deliver technical presentations, product training, and demonstrations to clients and distribution partners.Research and analyze African grid standards, market applications, and competitor products to optimize solution offerings.Collaborate with factory engineering teams to ensure seamless alignment between project design and production/delivery.Provide technical coordination and troubleshooting support during project execution phase.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.Minimum 3 years in pre-sales or solutions engineering for electrical equipment; prior experience with overseas projects preferred.Solid understanding of distribution transformer design, selection, and applicationKnowledge of MV/LV power systems and African grid standardsProfessional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).Willingness for long-term remote assignment in Tanzania and frequent short-term travel across multiple African countries.
