The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural analyses, preparing calculations, and working on structural and Geotechnical engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing project designs, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, and collaborating with builder, architect and building owner to ensure project success. Additional responsibilities include reviewing plans, managing compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers.QualificationsExpertise in Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering, with strong knowledge of Design and consulting principlesProficiency in Structural Analysis and performing engineering CalculationsHands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for developing structural plansStrong problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and attention to detailBachelor's or Master's degree in Structural EngineeringChartered Professional Engineering accreditation is preferredExperience in building and construction projects, with knowledge of local regulations and standardsMinimum 6 years experience New Zealand local consulting experience
