Our clients range from small to mid-size companies in a wide variety of sectors.About the Role:We are looking for a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional to join our Tokyo team. In this role, you will own full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level roles across multiple functions. You will partner closely with business leaders in Japan and the broader APAC region, ensuring we hire top talent aligned with our values, culture, and strategic objectives.This is a hybrid role based in Tokyo, Japan. 3 days in the office. Responsibilities:Lead full lifecycle recruitment for campus initiatives, senior, expert, and leadership roles across Japan, handling high-impact and often confidential searches.Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies (direct sourcing, headhunting, referrals, network mapping) to attract passive and diverse talent.Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, becoming a trusted adviser on TA strategy, market insights, compensation, and candidate selection.Manage the candidate experience end-to-end, including screening, interviewing, debriefs, offers, negotiation, and onboarding handoffs.Collaborate with compensation, legal, and business functions on sensitive offers and contracts.Maintain and evolve TA metrics, dashboards, and reporting to demonstrate hiring velocity, funnel health, quality of hire, and forecast hiring needs.Drive continuous improvement in recruitment systems, processes, employer branding, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and candidate engagement.Occasionally support regional projects or initiatives in APAC as required (e.g., employer branding, referrals program, TA training).Work cross-functionally to streamline recruitment processes and promote best practice sharing across global regions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including at least 3 years focused on senior or leadership level recruiting.Fluency in Japanese and English (verbal & written).Strong expertise in headhunting/sourcing passive talent in Tokyo / Japan market using MyNavi, LinkedIn Recruiter, OpenWork, and other local job boards.Excellent stakeholder management skills — ability to influence at senior levels and build trust.Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Benefits:Competitive payHybrid work environment, 3 days in the officeEmployee medical coverageGenerous paid annual leaveCasual and entrepreneurial work environment
