Providing the best of international engineering, locally.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive Senior Test & Commissioning Engineer to join our project team. This role involves leading testing and commissioning of rail systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support testing and commissioning of rail systems.Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Update testing documentation, and evidences. Prepare test specifications and reports in line with ASA, EN, and IEC standards.Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers, ensuring competency in testing procedures.Liaise with clients, contractors, and government bodies including Auckland Transport.Coordinate with external project stakeholders.Ensure safety compliance during live testing and issue work permits as required.Skills & ExperienceExperienced in test and commissioning of rail systems (rollingstock or wayside)Strong background in rail systems, testing, and engineering change management.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, FRACAS, and technical reporting.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.Familiarity with Australian and international standards (ASA, EN, IEC).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.QualificationsBachelor of EngineeringAdditional InformationPlease Note:The candidates who are currently in New Zealand are highly preferred for this role.If you are in Australia, but ready to work in New Zealand through FIFO arrangement, you are also welcome to apply for the job.
