Contract Duration: 6 Months + Extendable.Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer (Consultant) with strong expertise in SWIFT MT to MX migration testing and UAE payment systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial messaging standards and hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for test data management and reporting is essential.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute test cases for SWIFT MT to MX message transformations.Validate end-to-end payment flows in compliance with UAE payment regulations.Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other QA team members to ensure test coverage.Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.Prepare detailed test reports and dashboards using Excel.Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Required Skills & Experience:5–9 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.Strong experience in SWIFT MT/MX message formats and ISO 20022 standards.Hands-on experience with UAE payment systems (e.g., UAESWITCH, ICCS, WPS, etc.).Proficient in Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, formulas, macros, and data analysis.Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).Excellent analytical and communication skills.Nice to Have:ISTQB or equivalent certification.Experience with automation tools or scripting is a plus.
