We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our remote team and lead the production of high-quality video content for our clients across various platforms.Role DescriptionWe are hiring a Senior Video Editor for a full-time role.As a Senior Video Editor at Bloomdots, you will be responsible for producing, editing, and refining video content that enhances our clients’ brand presence. You will lead a small team of editors, oversee the entire post-production process, and ensure that all videos meet the highest creative and technical standards. Your role will involve collaborating closely with content strategists, designers, and social media managers to create engaging, on-brand video assets that drive results.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit and produce high-quality video content for multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).Lead and mentor a team of video editors, providing creative direction and feedback.Collaborate with social media managers and content strategists to align video content with marketing goals.Develop and maintain efficient video workflows, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within brand guidelines.Create motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques, video trends, and platform specifications.Manage file organisation, version control, and asset libraries.Work with clients and internal teams to understand project goals and incorporate feedback effectively.Ensure all content meets technical specifications for various social media platforms.Utilise tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and ClickUp for editing, project management, and collaboration.QualificationsProven experience as a Senior Video Editor or in a similar leadership editing role.Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve.Strong storytelling skills and a sharp eye for pacing, composition, and detail.Experience leading or mentoring a team of editors.Excellent understanding of social media video formats and audience engagement strategies.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp.A proactive mindset with the ability to make creative decisions independently.Patience, adaptability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, remote work environment.Why Join Bloomdots?Be part of a dynamic, creative, and growing team.Opportunity to work with diverse clients across industries and experience Australian work culture (yes, the clients are Australia-based businesses).Collaborative and supportive remote work environment.Competitive salary and benefits.Room for creative freedom and professional growth.
