Leading and training warehouse staff, enforcing safety and compliance regulations, and coordinating with other departments to achieve operational goals.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESInventory and stock management: Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock records, and ensure accurate inventory levels to prevent shortfalls.Warehouse operations: Oversee daily operations, such as the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.Logistics and coordination: Plan and coordinate shipments, manage loading and unloading, and ensure the timely delivery of products.Supervision: Lead and supervise warehouse workers, including shipping and receiving clerks, and ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.Problem-solving: Address challenges such as inventory discrepancies or delivery delays to minimize disruptions.Performance analysis: Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in logistics processes.System and equipment use: Utilize logistics and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to perform duties and operate material handling equipment like forklifts.Administrative tasks: Handle related paperwork, manage operational policies, and report on key performance indicators.KEY REQUIREMENTSEducation: bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.Experience: 3-5 years for Supply Chain Management, Warehouse, Logistics, or a related field.Know-how/skills: Good working knowledge of SAP and have experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and warehousing.KEY COMPETENCIESGood business acumen and ability to work with ambiguity.Strong leadership skills, takes ownership and initiative.Good interpersonal communication and influencing skills.Good in spoken & written English. Ability to communicate in English.
