We’re Hiring: Senior Workshop Project Engineer – Downhole Equipment Manufacturing Location: Baghdad, IraqKey Responsibilities:Leads the development of the downhole equipment manufacturing facility from initial assessment to full production.Responsible for workshop refurbishment, layout design, defining equipment requirements, supplier coordination (international OFS companies), API quality standards, production readiness, and full commissioning of machines and processes.Oversees all technical decisions during construction and start-up and ensures the workshop is fully prepared for safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.Builds and manages the business unit P&L, sets production targets, supports pricing strategies, and drives the long-term growth of the downhole tools manufacturing division.Acts as the primary technical interface with partners, contractors, technology licensors, and certifying bodies.Leads the commercial expansion of the business, including sales, marketing, customer engagement, and partnership development with OFS companies, drilling contractors, and oil operators.Prepares regular technical, operational, and commercial reports for management, summarizing progress, production performance, sales pipeline, risks, and required decisions.If you feel you are a good fit, please send your CV to nicy.a@nooralhilal.com with the subject line “Project Engineer – [Your Name]”.
