Service Engineer

Job Title: Service Engineer (Cambodia Market) Location: Cambodia (based in-country; managed by SANY Heavy Industry Vietnam) Department: After-Sales / Service Reports to: Regional Service Manager I. As part of our regional expansion and commitment to after-sales excellence, we are looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to join our team and support our growing customer base in Cambodia.II. Job PurposeAs a Service Engineer based in Cambodia, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a range of SANY construction equipment. Your role will involve both fieldwork and coordination with our Vietnam-based service and technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction, product reliability, and efficient after-sales service.III. Key responsibilities1. Maintenance & RepairsPerform scheduled maintenance, technical inspections, and repairs for SANY machinery, including:- Dump trucks- Concrete pump trucks- Excavators- Wheel loaders- Mining dump trucks- Port and heavy-duty construction equipment2. Replace and install parts in accordance with manufacturer standards3. Technical Support (On-Site)- Provide on-site diagnostic and troubleshooting support to customers during equipment operation.- Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns in the field.4. Cross-Functional Coordination- Collaborate with SANY Vietnam’s technical, logistics, and parts departments to ensure fast and effective service delivery.- Act as a technical bridge between the Cambodian customer base and the Vietnam headquarters.5. Documentation & Reporting- Maintain accurate records of service tasks, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and issue resolutions.- Submit regular reports and provide feedback to the Vietnam service team regarding field performance and customer concerns.6. Customer Training & Support- Deliver basic operational guidance and hands-on training to customers on proper equipment use and maintenance.- Promote best practices to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.7. Compliance & Safety- Ensure all work follows SANY’s technical standards, service protocols, and safety regulations.- Always maintain a safe working environment, whether in workshops or on job sites.IV. Qualifications & Requirements- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.- 2–5 years of experience in servicing heavy equipment or construction machinery.- Practical knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.- Experience with SANY machinery or similar brands is highly preferred.- Good communication skills in English or Chinese.- Willingness to travel within Cambodia and occasionally to Vietnam for training or coordination.V.
