You will work on integrating core business logic, developing secure transactions, and optimizing backend processes for performance and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain SFCC controllers, models, and business logicImplement checkout workflows and payment integrationsCreate and maintain SOAP/REST web servicesCustomize OCAPI hooks for API extensionsManage catalog, order, and customer logicDebug backend issues and optimize performanceCollaborate with frontend developers on data contractsWhat You Will BringTechnical Skills Required:SFCC Script API (dw/* modules) proficiencyCartridge development, controllers, and path managementTransactions and data persistenceBasketMgr, OrderMgr, PaymentMgr, CustomerMgr, ProductMgr, CategoryMgrHooks and middleware patternsOCAPI customization and integrationsDebugging/logging in Business ManagerConfigure site preferences, payment/shipping/tax methods, jobs, and servicesExperience Level:2–4 years backend development experience2+ years SFCC-specific experienceUnderstanding of e-commerce workflowsDomain Knowledge:Order lifecycle, pricing, and inventoryPayment processing and PCI compliance basicsCustomer data management and privacy standardsAt Metyis, we are driven by curiosity and collaboration.
