With a proud history, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.This role is critical for creating specific customer requests and Fielder’s sheet metal products such as rainwater goods. (Elbow, Shoes, Flume, custom Bracket …….)We’re looking for a self-driven, action-oriented individual with a commitment to the quality of their work, and the ability to adapt quickly and effectively manage competing priorities.This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week. What Will You Do?You will ensure that our customers expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner. To achieve this, you will-:Inputting customer drawings in Auto-CAD or Auto-deskOperating Turret punch and press brake machinesProduce rainwater goods such as rainheads and vents, to the best possible qualityProduce customer-specified steel products as required to the highest quality standard on time and safelyEnsure whole work area is clean and tidyMaintain Preventative maintenance on workshop equipmentEnsure all paperwork is correctly documented and returned promptly to the correct personsContribute to a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety practices at workMore About YouComing from a sheetmetal / fabrication background you will demonstrate a strong customer focus and a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers as you advance in your career.In Addition, You Will HaveKnowledge drawing skills using (Auto-CAD or Auto-desk)A recognised sheet metal trade qualificationExperience working in a sheet metal trade roleCustomer service orientation and efficient time management skillsAttention to detailUnderstanding of safety responsibilitiesWhy BlueScopeAs BlueScope Continues To Go From Strength To Strength, a Career With Us Provides You With The Opportunity To Grow And Be Rewarded.
