The ideal candidate will have experience working with Shopify’s ecosystem, including Liquid templates, Shopify APIs, and modern frontend technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify storefronts, ensuring high performance and seamless user experiences.AccountabilitiesDevelop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptOptimize Shopify store performance for speed and responsivenessIntegrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionalityImplement UI/UX best practices for improved customer experienceWork closely with designers and backend developers to implement store featuresDebug and troubleshoot issues related to Shopify storefrontsStay up-to-date with Shopify’s latest features, updates, and best practicesQualificationsMust-Have Skills: Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Familiarity with Shopify APIs and Shopify Plus features Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility Experience working with JSON, REST APIs, and third-party integrations Strong debugging and troubleshooting skillsNice-to-Have skills: Experience with frameworks like React Knowledge of headless commerce solutions with Shopify Understanding of SEO best practices Experience working with version control systems (Git)Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required) 3+ years of Shopify development experienceLovepop ValuesEngineering: Curiosity to discover how the world worksHunger: Desire to take on more than is expectedMagic: Delivering unexpected experiencesConnection: Building relationships with each other
