The Manpower Recruitment Agency of Sophia Antipolis is exclusively supporting the European Society of Cardiology in its 2026 recruitment activities.The Simulation & Hands‑On Programme Lead serves as the central link between Congress Programme Committees (CPCs), ESC teams, faculty experts, industry partners, and simulator providers.Your primary mission: design, coordinate, and ensure the pedagogical and operational excellence of all simulation and hands‑on activities at ESC Congresses.🧩 Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Programme Design & Scientific SupportSupport CPCs in defining the annual hands‑on and simulation programme.Contribute to shaping session formats, learning pathways, procedural focus areas, learning objectives, faculty needs, and assignments.Ensure programme coherence and alignment with ESC’s scientific and educational vision.2️⃣ Stakeholder Collaboration & Operational PlanningLiaise with volunteer cardiologists, industry partners, and simulation providers to co‑design hands‑on sessions.Coordinate equipment needs, technical requirements, and session expectations.Work closely with ESC Operations teams to translate programme needs into operational plans:Space planningAudio‑visual and technical setupsEquipment delivery and installationStaffing and onsite resourcingContribute to contract preparation, financial arrangements, and compliance requirements.3️⃣ Educational Quality Assurance & Onsite DeliveryEnsure all sessions align with ESC educational standards and adult learning principles.Oversee hands‑on areas onsite during Congresses:Smooth running of sessionsProper functioning of simulation equipmentFaculty support and guidanceTroubleshooting and real‑time coordination in a high‑paced environment4️⃣ Post‑Event Evaluation & Continuous ImprovementCollect participant and faculty feedback with the relevant teams.Analyse programme performance and identify areas for improvement.Recommend enhancements and innovations for future congress editions.ProfileMaster’s degree in medical education, health sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in medical education or a health‑science environment.Strong background or interest in simulation‑based training, procedural education, or biomedical technologies (highly desirable).Familiarity with interventional cardiology workflows is a strong plus.Technical Skills : Strong project management and organisational skills.Ability to work with technical equipment and simulation technologies.Solid understanding of educational design principles is an advantage.Interpersonal & Soft SkillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proven capacity to coordinate diverse stakeholders with differing priorities.Strong adaptability and operational agility.Ability to work under time pressure, especially during onsite congress periods.Permanent contract – Executive status
