Site Engineer - DublinA Site Engineer is required by a leading civil and utilities contractor to work on the first BusConnects Core Bus Corridor scheme in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site engineer to join a reputable main contractor and play a key role in delivering one of Ireland’s most high-profile public transport infrastructure projects. The project involves substantial civils and utilities works, including road construction, drainage, and ducting, as part of ongoing upgrades to Dublin’s transport network.Duties:Set out the site and carry out accurate surveying work using GPS and total station.Supervise and coordinate civils and utilities works, including drainage, ducting, and utilities diversions (water, gas, ESB, telecoms).Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications and drawings.Liaise with subcontractors, utilities providers, and the site management team to ensure smooth project delivery.Maintain daily site records and prepare progress reports.Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities.Requirements:Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years experience as a Site Engineer on civil and utilities projects in Ireland or the UK.Proven experience in utilities diversions, drainage, road construction, and reinstatement works.Strong setting-out and surveying skills.Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and QA/QC procedures.Strong communication and organisational skills.Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.Full clean driving licence.Salary:Salary circa €60–70K, depending on experience.Excellent benefits package.Company vehicle provided.If you are a Site Engineer considering a career move, please send your CV or contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion.Email - a.maguire@gpcireland.comGPC will not send any applicant’s CV to clients without full discussion and prior consent.
