You will be responsible for ensuring the project is executed efficiently, safely, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality.Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:Develop and implement project programs, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget managementLead and manage subcontractors and site personnelPrimary point of contact for clients and other project stakeholdersSupervise and oversee site operationsMaintaining professional and positive relationships with tradesmen, suppliers and clientsMaintain and address OH&S and site safety complianceManaging project budgets and build time framesKey Attributes and ExperienceMinimum 10+ years commercial construction experienceA strong portfolio of education or commercial projects in the $5-$50M rangeTrade Qualification in Carpentry or other relevant tradeLeadership – ability to work independently and proven experience in effectively managing a team including subcontractors, suppliers & support teamDepth of knowledge in construction methodology and various trades (structural, civil, services, facade, framing and finishing)Experience in reviewing project plans and specifications, understanding of building design, value engineering and demonstrate foresight in resolution of potential construction problemsPrevious experience in Microsoft Project, Procore and HammerTech an advantage Excellent communication skills & ability to work well in a team environmentStrong knowledge and awareness of OH&SOpen site supervisor licenseConstruction Industry White Card is essentialCurrent drivers’ licenceWorking with Children Check or willingness to undergo checkIn return for your hard work and commitment to the business, we will offer a competitive remuneration package, along with the opportunity to develop a long-term career that is driven and guided by a long standing and proven construction firm.If you believe you have the necessary skills for the position, please apply today.
