Site Supervisor

Kerman Contracting is seeking experienced Multidisciplinary and Electrical Site Supervisors to deliver Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) projects for a Tier 1 client. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster, offering a fixed-term contract with strong potential for extension.As a Site Supervisor, you will report to the Deputy Manager /Site Manager and will lead the on-site team to ensure a high standard of safety, quality, and performance across the project lifecycle.You will be personable and responsible for maintaining a positive team environment on site.Our Benefits On OfferAs a Site Supervisor with Kerman, you will have the following benefits:18-24 months fixed term (potential to go longer) with leave accrual (Annual Leave and Sick Leave)2:1 FIFO roster from Perth Attractive Hourly Rate Attractive completion bonus (on Base) paid out on project completionSalary sacrifice opportunitiesStrong and diverse project pipeline offering job securitySupportive team structure consisting of Head Office staff as well as Site/Project Managers, Supervisors, Administrators and Commissioning teamRoles, Duties And ResponsibilitiesAs a Site Supervisor, some of your key responsibilities will include:Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and material deliveries on site, including Civil, Concrete, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, Cladding, Hydraulics, Fire Detection, Hydrocarbons, and Infrastructure worksAssist in the development of look-ahead programsProvide technical and logistical support to subcontractors and assist in raising Technical Queries (TQs) and variationsReview and monitor the drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries, and tools relevant to the discipline and work areaDevelop detailed daily and weekly work plans in line with the baseline schedule to allow sufficient time for job preparationWork closely with Project and Site Engineers to develop and execute work packsInform the Site Manager or Deputy Manager of areas where the program needs adjustment due to site conditions or material deliveriesMonitor that employees adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, baseline schedule, specifications, ITPs, procedures, and site instructionsConduct detailed pre-start meetings with work crewsEnsure all personnel comply with Kerman Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and client requirementsManage timely performance and disciplinary procedures in conjunction with the Human Resources departmentFacilitate Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and field leadership sessionsConduct regular worksite safety and environmental inspectionsAssist in preparing work method statementsComplete QA inspections, check sheets and checklists for on-site worksCommunicate effectively and build strong working relationships with subcontractors and client representatives on siteIdentify and report any changes to the scope of workTo be successful for the Site Supervisor role you will have:Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent industry 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of full life cycle project deliverablesSuperior people management and interpersonal communications skills.Experience working on multiple disciplinary projects is desirable Schedule 26 qualification Experience with Electrical or Multidisciplinary projects across the mining sectorExperience delivering NPI projects across the resources sector will be highly regardedWhy Chose Kerman For Your Next Career StepWe are a stable, privately owned Perth-based business with diverse and engaging projects to enhance your skills and experience in a positive working environment.You are valued as an individual in an environment that does not allow for politics or toxicity.Work in an environment led by skilled, responsive, respectful, and supportive managers and be valued for your opinions and capabilitiesAbout UsKerman Contracting Pty Ltd (Kerman) is a successful West Australian company specialising in designing and constructing major industrial projects associated with Australia's Mining and agricultural sectors.We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and productive work environment with a diverse and inclusive culture.If you are interested in the position at Kerman’s and believe your skills, personality, team-focused mentality, and experience align with the requirements mentioned, we encourage you to submit your application today.
