SummaryThe Site Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing designated transport services through effective coordination with Service Leaders and Bus Captains (BCs). This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of services within Sentosa, with a focus on daily operational activities, resource planning, guest interaction, regulatory and company compliance, and site safety (including the coach park and bus bay). The Site Supervisor also plays a critical role in supporting service recovery, staff communication, and administrative processes.Principal Responsibilities And AuthoritiesLead the delivery of transport services through direct supervision of Service Leaders.Ensure full daily duty coverage, including prompt arrangements for absenteeism or vacant duties.Allocate duties promptly to ensure BCs depart on schedule. Record lateness and reasons for service delays.Inform the Site Manager of all no-shows and significant attendance issues.Assist the Site Manager in overseeing smooth day-to-day operations at the coach park and bus bay.Support Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) in matters related to security and facility management.Ensure the coach park and bus bay are maintained as safe and orderly environments, in line with SDC standards.Provide professional guest service, including addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.Log, manage, and follow up on lost property, including efforts to identify and return items to their rightful owners.Conduct regular (every six months) audits of Driving Licenses and Driver Qualification Cards, ensuring accurate records are maintained in the HR system.Promote high staff performance standards through proactive issue resolution and timely feedback.Respond promptly to emergencies or crisis situations within the coach park and bus bay.Liaise with police or other relevant external authorities as required during operational incidents.Assume control during emergency situations when necessary to ensure safety and service continuity.Serve as the primary point of contact for BCs, facilitating open communication and addressing concerns.Ensure effective shift coordination, including thorough handovers between outgoing and incoming teams.Build and maintain strong working relationships with BCs to foster a positive and supportive work environment.Ensure the coach park and bus bay remain clean and presentable, with all staff communications up to date and relevant.Coordinate the collection and handling of medical certificates submitted by BCs.Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Site Manager.Participate in training and development activities as required.Skills, Experience, Conditions SpecificationsThis position involves shift work and work on weekends. You will be required to work such hours as deemed necessary to provide appropriate coverage.Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of the SDC contract regime.Good geographical knowledge of the area of operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with Part IV of the Employment Act and HR administrative processes.Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.Strong ability to forward plan to meet staffing and operational needs.Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.Proven ability to engage and liaise effectively with BCs in a professional and respectful manner.Customer service excellence and the ability to handle guest feedback confidently.Performance metrics include driver efficiency, cost control, punctuality, uniform standards, and BC-related KPIs.
