We run two large-scale events per year for power grid engineering professionals in Europe. We are searching for an exceptional Event Assistant to support our CEO and a small team of freelance and agency staff.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in event coordination, be a meticulous administrator, a go-getting action taker, and an exceptional communicator. They will primarily work from home and occasionally meet in person. They will be free to travel across Europe to meet with suppliers and customers. They will work at pace and with precision to meet important deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality output. The Role Involves:
Appointment Setting – cold-calling to schedule sales calls, initiating through email, chasing and closing by phoneEvent Promotion – launching digital marketing campaigns, monitoring effectiveness, adjusting as required to maximise ROIEvent Coordination – supporting the coordination of event logistics by liaising with suppliers, speakers, sponsors and delegates to ensure a smooth onsite experienceThe Ideal Candidate Possesses: 2: 1 Degree in any subjectStrong communication skillsMeticulous administration skillsAction and results orientedAble to prioritise and manage time to maximise productivityCheerful demeanour and enthusiastic attitude toward work, customers, co-workers and results
