Job Description

Uncover assets and disrupt serious and organised crime.As a SOC Financial Investigator for EMSOU, you’ll drive investigations into serious and organised crime. You’ll recover assets and obtain confiscation orders through development of intelligence and gathering evidence to help prosecute money laundering offences.We have a full-time (37 hours) and part-time position (25.9 hours) available.You’ll be Planning investigations ensuring they are conducted thoroughly.Identifying criminally obtained assets and conducting confiscation inquiries.Providing specialist financial investigation advise to a range of stakeholders.You must haveCurrent or previous accreditation as a Financial Investigator.Complex crime investigation skills including asset confiscation and exhibit handling.Awareness of intelligence gathering with experience of financial intelligence submissions.Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have 5 years’ continuous residency in the UK.What’s in it for you?By joining us, you will be part of a team of highly skilled, professional, and dedicated colleagues and partners, who are committed to policing with integrity.
