Our mission is to solve our clients' business challenges by leveraging their data ecosystems and our expertise, proprietary techniques, and customer-centric approach.Role DescriptionSupporting our clients' goals to become more "social first" by leveraging social media data to energize their businesses, PulseMetrics is creating a new career track in our team - that of the Social Media Analytics Specialist.This is a full-time hybrid position located in Bangkok, with a mix of on-site and remote work. Successful candidates will be gathering and analyzing social media data across multiple platforms, identifying social media trends and predicting their trajectories, selecting social media influencers and content creators (KOLs) for deeper profiling of their content, style, and audience. Also, supporting our Senior Data Scientists to develop algorithms to segment and match KOLs to our clients' marketing campaigns so as to more effectively engage the targeted consumer groups. The job responsibility also includes supporting our clients to measure the effectiveness of their social media campaigns, building and refreshing dashboards, and preparing presentations to summarize insights with our clients.QualificationsAs this is a new multi-disciplinary role, we are looking for candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, but the "must haves" for this role are a strong interest in social media, an inquisitive analytical mindset, and a persistent curiosity that drives a person to find answers and understand what is really happening.Aspiring candidates can come from either a Marketing/eCommerce/Digital/Communications background, or STEM education and qualifications. The following are not hard and fast criteria but are given to illustrate the nature of the work and the kind of candidates we are looking for:Degree in STEM (especially mathematics, statistics, computer science) or Marketing, eCommerce, Digital Business, and CommunicationsIf you have a diploma that crosses business and data domains such as marketing analytics or social media analytics, that will be a bonus and can replace the degree requirementAbility to understand and write code in SQL and Python (does not need to be expert programmer)Very high proficiencies in Excel, Powerpoint, and other productivity toolsExperience with social media analytics tools is a plusKnowledge of Social Media Marketing and a good understanding of the content creation ecosystems in each platformExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with marketing teamsWe are specifically looking for Social Media Analytics Specialists in Thailand who are familiar with the local social media landscape and able to understand the Thai language and cultural context. However, the candidate should also have the ability to "abstract" out the core principles of our methodology and approach, and apply it to other ASEAN markets such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.If you think that you have lots to offer based on the above description, we will be very keen to speak with you.
