Job Title: Content Creator – Photography & Social MediaLocation: Dartmouth, NS (Hybrid)Type: Contract (2-month pilot, with potential for full-time or long-term extension)Hours: Approximately 30 hours per weekReports to: Marketing ManagerAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a creative and organized Content Creator to capture and produce engaging visuals that highlight our products, customers, and brand personality. This role combines hands-on photo/video production with social media content creation.You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, shoot, and edit content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, using an established brand look while bringing fresh creative ideas.ResponsibilitiesCapture and edit photography and video content for digital platformsCreate consistent, on-brand visuals and short-form videosOccasionally visit stores, warehouses, or client sites to film contentEdit, organize, and submit all deliverables via SharePointCollaborate on captions, scheduling, and post timingHelp define and implement a consistent LinkedIn brand voiceStay updated on social trends and best practicesRequirementsPortfolio showing product photography or short-form video contentExperience editing for Instagram Reels and TikTokSkilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom) or similarFamiliar with Canva and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint)Reliable transportation for filming daysStrong communication and organizational skillsNice to HaveSomeone who’s camera comfortable (open to being featured in short videos)Basic motion graphics or design experienceExperience building brand presence on LinkedIn or TikTokUnderstanding of retail/commercial photographyCompensation & DetailsTwo-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire30 hours per week, flexible hybrid scheduleCompany camera, gimbal, and work phone providedVacation pay (4%) included per NS Labour StandardsTo Apply:Please include a short introduction, your portfolio link, and your expected hourly rate.
