Narrative Hub is a Brisbane-based content-first creative agency specialising in high-quality video, photo and social media management for businesses, brands and organisations across multiple industries.The RoleDue to recent growth, we are looking to bring on a Social Media Coordinator to join the team. Reporting to our Social Media Manager, you will assist our team in executing for our retainer clients.This will be a hands on role, assisting with the process from production to scheduled posts. You will be coordinating between our team of videographers, photographers and editors, along with our trusted sub-contractor network to deliver week to week for our clientsThis is a Part-Time role for 3x days per week. At our rate of growth, we see this being a full time role potentially within 6x monthsAbout youYou’ll blend the perfect mix of creativity and attention to detail in this role. Your creative side will thrive when coming up with content plans for clients, finding new and exciting ways to tell their stories, based on strategy and trends. When you get that pixel perfect content back from our editing team, you’ll then craft compelling captions that match our client’s tone of voice and diligently schedule them out so their socials are consistent and of high quality.No stranger to Canva and other editing tools, you’ll be able to assist with content creation as well, even if it’s more lo-fi, however you’re going to be around cameras and equipment all the time, so there will be opportunities to add a string to your bow there.Most importantly, you’re a completer/finisher with a high attention to detail and carry out your work diligently and take accountability for your tasks as this role is important in terms of bringing work together and delivering it consistently.Basic responsibilitiesCreate content plans for clients based on strategies created by Social Media Manager. There will be opportunities for you to contribute to strategy as well. All creative ideas welcome!Based on your content plans, create production outlines so that it’s clear for our clients, their teams and our videographers/photographers as to what content is required. This includes a run sheet, shot lists, questions, scripts and direction.Assist on shoot days in a producing capacity, ensuring the production plans are carried out as needed.Briefing video editing and graphic design jobs into our team to ensure you then get what’s needed from each shoot.Prepare content for review and manage internal and external revision processes.Schedule content with accuracy and consistency.Create content and manage social media accounts for Narrative Hub’s internal channels.Client communications, mainly by e-mail but as you develop there will be in person/face to face meetings necessary.Skills that pay the bills1-3 years experience in a marketing role, preferably social media. Entry level applicants who can demonstrate skills are also welcome to apply.Knowledge of project management tools and desire to learn them quickly if needed. Mainly - ClickUp, Notion, Dropbox, Slack, GMail.Ability to use Canva to intermediate level or above. Whether it’s editing templates, or making something basic from scratch.Basic video & photo editing. Whether that’s the Adobe suite or CapCut, Canva or similar, being able to create/edit simple content assists.High attention to detail, organised and time efficient.While it’s not a dealbreaker, it is preferable that you have recently completed or are in your last year of a university degree in social media, PR, communications or similar. We are open to hiring people without a degree but doing one just shows that marketing is your jam and you aren’t an out of work influencer.The TL;DRSince you’re detail oriented, you wouldn’t have skipped to this part without reading the whole ad ;) However we’ll summarise it for you.Attitude is paramount. We are a small team which has the systems in place to grow into a large agency over the next couple of years. We want good people.
