Job Title: Social Media InternSalary: $50 per MonthCompany: City ExplorerLocation: Hybrid (West Jakarta)Hours: 8 Hours/day Position Summary:City Explorer, a London-based company, is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to help grow and engage our online community. This unpaid internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, perfect for anyone interested in content creation, social media strategy, and digital marketing within the livestreaming and education sectors. This role will be coordinated by our Indonesia-based team, with guidance and supervision from our London headquarters. Key Responsibilities:Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across City Explorer’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube) to increase brand visibility and engagement.Help brainstorm and develop fresh content ideas aligned with City Explorer’s brand and mission, including video clips, graphics, and user-generated content.Monitor social media channels for trends, community feedback, and engagement opportunities, responding to comments and messages to enhance the follower experience.Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategies.Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align social media efforts with upcoming events, livestreams, and the Academy Bootcamp program.Assist in researching influencers and partnership opportunities to expand City Explorer’s reach and build meaningful collaborations.Support social media campaigns and contests to drive user engagement and promote our educational programs.Assist the Livestreaming Planning Department (LPD) in reviewing Explorer livestream schedules and content outlines to ensure variety, relevance, and alignment with platform guidelines.Participate in planning sessions with Explorers to help brainstorm themes, angles, or improvements for upcoming livestreams.Contribute to the creation of weekly livestream content reports and support event planning teams with visual content and announcements. Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.Familiarity with popular social media platforms and trends, with a strong interest in digital marketing.Basic graphic design skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools).Basic video editing skills are a plus (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools).Good English comprehension and communication skills for engaging with followers and crafting posts.Creative mindset with a proactive approach to proposing new ideas and engaging content.Comfortable working with data; experience with social media analytics tools is a bonus.Interest in the livestreaming, content creation, or marketing communication is a plus.Strong organizational skills and ability to follow schedules or planning workflows related to livestream content management.Ability to work collaboratively with Explorers and internal teams to support creative planning and content development. Benefits:Gain practical experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.Mentorship from experienced professionals in the livestreaming and marketing fields.Flexible hours with the opportunity for remote work.Certificate of internship signed by our headquarters in London, providing both prestige and a valuable addition to your professional portfolio, ensuring a quality experience.Potential for a future paid position based on performance and business needs. How to Apply:If this role sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
