Adexen is mandated to recruit an experienced Social Media Manager to manage and grow the personal brand of the CEO of a large African conglomerate. The position is based in Lagos-Nigeria.Responsibilities:The Social Media Manager will manage and grow the personal brand of the CEO. The role includes creating impactful content, overseeing all social media platforms, managing engagement, and ensuring consistent messaging across digital channels.Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the CEO’s brand and business objectives.Create and curate high-quality content highlighting leadership, business work, and public engagements.Manage daily platform activity, engagement, and community interactions.Monitor reputation, handle sensitive issues, and support crisis communication.Lead social media campaigns for key events, announcements, and initiatives.Collaborate with communications teams and report performance metrics to executive leadership.Desired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.8+ years of experience managing social media for executives or public figures.Strong writing, visual storytelling, and content creation skills.Skilled in analytics, strategy development, and digital tools.High professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive information.We thank all applicants however only those selected will be contacted.
