They are known for delivering operational excellence, managing complex capital projects, and driving performance improvements across multi-site and multi-unit operations in the energy sector.Job PurposeThe Chief Enterprise Performance Officer drives enterprise-wide performance transformation across all business units and major capital expenditure portfolios within a diversified, multi-national upstream oil and gas services enterprise. The role ensures strategic objectives are aligned with operational execution, embeds a data-driven culture of accountability and transparency, and delivers measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and operational outcomes.This role provides the opportunity to serve as a transformation leader, directly shaping enterprise performance and organizational culture across complex industrial environments.ScopeThe CEPO has end-to-end accountability for the organization’s performance and transformation initiatives, including:Multiple business units spanning industrial services, engineering, and capital projectsEnterprise-wide performance management frameworks, KPIs, and dashboardsProcess optimization, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiativesGovernance, compliance, and risk management across all operational unitsStrategic programs and major transformation projectsCandidates must have demonstrable experience in enterprise-wide performance management, business transformation, and large-scale operational programs, with a proven ability to lead complex, multi-unit organizations.Key Responsibilities1. Enterprise Performance Management:Design and implement enterprise-wide performance management frameworks that aligns strategic goals with measurable outcomes.Lead development of digital performance dashboards to provide real-time visibility of critical enterprise metrics.2. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement:Streamline business processes and eliminate operational inefficiencies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across diverse operating units and project portfolios.3. Reporting, Governance & Risk Management:Standardize enterprise reporting, KPIs, and milestone tracking to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely escalation of material issues.Establish and enforce governance standards for compliance, health, safety, environmental stewardship, and enterprise-wide risk management.4. Transformation & Cultural Alignment:Oversee major transformation programs with measurable impact on productivity, operational delivery, and cost performance.Drive adoption of global best-practice methodologies to optimize performance and embed a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and operational discipline.5. Executive Engagement:Provide executive-level performance insights to the CEO and Board, highlighting trends, risks, and recommended interventions to enable informed decision-making.Profile RequirementsPostgraduate degree (MBA or M.Sc.) in a management-related discipline(mandatory)Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in enterprise performance management, strategy execution, or business transformationAt least 7 years in a senior leadership role within complex industrial, infrastructure, or engineering environmentsProven track record delivering measurable improvements such as: Operational cost reductions in multi-site or multi-entity environments; KPI frameworks that significantly improved efficiency or on-time delivery; Continuous improvement initiatives that delivered meaningful productivity gains and Cash flow or EBITDA improvements driven by performance optimization.Experience leading large-scale transformation programs impacting multiple subsidiaries or major capital projects.Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate organizational vision into actionable plans.Advanced analytical capability, with proven ability to use data to diagnose issues and forecast trends.Strong change leadership skills, capable of driving cultural and operational transformation.Excellent executive communication skills and the ability to influence decisions across diverse stakeholders and operating companies.CompensationA competitive executive compensation package aligned with industry standards.
