Join the G Nation today!Roles And ResponsibilitiesDoes (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas)Drives the social media content strategy for key campaigns and always-on content across the brand’s owned channels. Strategy includes (but not limited to) social media objectives, channel roles, and key social initiatives.Create the content plan for GCash’s multiple social media channels for assigned campaigns and projects; ensuring that content is aligned with overall social strategy and drives engagement, brand affinity, and positive sentiment for GCashTranslates overall marketing communications plan into a social-first plan, which then leads to the creation of social-native executions that are guided and informed by relevant trends and platform innovationsLeads post-campaign analyses and reports to determine effectiveness of social campaigns in meeting marketing objectives and contributing to social key metricsLooks after channel audience growth and sustained engagement by developing effective content across platforms; is able to give directions on the execution of content, writing copy for social materials, and scheduling posting across platforms.Responsible for coordinating with both internal cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver on campaign and always-on requirements.Ensure proper project management is employed to deliver high quality work that’s within strategy, budget, and deadlines.Trains and works closely with one-downs (both in the internal team and through third-party partners) to drive overall social media content strategy—from conceptualization to post-campaign reports.Administrative tasks related to supplier sourcing and payments.Supports the social media head to seek out and create opportunities for thought leadership for GCash in the social media and digital space.Displays (The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks / responsibilities will be performed)Digital savviness with a passion for social media & content marketing; knowledge of how platforms work; has experience in online/digital/social media communications; has experience in content creation and strategyBeing detail-oriented and an able project managerDrive, competence, and willingness to learn and contribute to the marketing communications team’s overall goals and objectivesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage simultaneous projectsAgile and able to adapt quickly; can operate in a high-growth business where change is constant, and flexibility is key to ensuring successAbility to work with people at all levels within the company and with third-party suppliersDelivers (The specific output / tangible results produced by the role; resources responsible for)Overall social media content strategy for specific campaigns and always-on contentChannel strategy, ensuring engagement and audience growthSocial-first, channel-specific marketing campaigns that contribute to key metrics and performance indicators for social across channelsTrendspotting and thought leadership opportunitiesTraining and coaching to one-downsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or a relevant fieldAt least 5 years of proven work experience as a Social Media ManagerProficiency in developing social media content and familiarity with monitoring metrics—either on the brand side or in an advertising/digital agencyExpertise in content strategy; attuned to what’s current, trending, and relevant–and is able to translate these to our brand’s contentKeen eye for beauty and design; proficient in copywritingOutstanding oral and written communication skillsExcellent time and project management skills.
