From global broadcasts and live events to digital storytelling and social campaigns, we help brands connect with fans through culture, creativity, and craft.The RoleWe’re looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong background in sports to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll help lead the planning and execution of high-impact social content across multiple sports properties — from live coverage and content calendars to post-match storytelling and community engagement.The ideal candidate lives and breathes sport, understands fan culture, and knows how to translate moments on the field into moments online. You’re quick on trends, calm under pressure, and confident in both strategy and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute social media strategies for live events, leagues, and brand campaigns.Manage daily posting, engagement, and performance tracking across all major platforms.Work closely with content creators, editors, and designers to bring social-first ideas to life.Provide real-time coverage during games, tournaments, and events.Translate brand goals into authentic, fan-first storytelling.Report on social analytics and identify opportunities to grow engagement and reach.Requirements3–5 years’ experience managing social media for a sports team, league, broadcaster, or sports brand.Deep understanding of major platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads).Proven ability to create thumb-stopping content and write with tone, voice, and timing.Experience working with creative and production teams under tight deadlines.Strong understanding of fan communities, sports culture, and live event coverage.Available to support key event weekends and travel when needed.Bonus PointsExperience in gaming, esports, or crossover sports culture.Content creation skills (shooting, editing, or motion graphics).
