Software Business Analyst

We are seeking a Software Business Analyst with Finance and/or Fintech background to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating solutions to our clients in the trade finance, credit assessment and compliance space.The company:KS-TF AG, Switzerland based, was created as a consulting company and consists today of professionals with expertise in the trade processing and financing space, covering the disciplines of legal, credit, operations, strategy, structuring and software development. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business partners to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to trade finance, credit, compliance and artificial intelligenceTranslate client needs into clear functional specifications for the development teamDesign business process improvements and system enhancements to support trade finance transaction/credit/compliance workflowsCreate detailed documentation including technical requirement, use cases and process flowsAct as a liaison between consultants and the software development team to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverablesPresent proposed solutions and system changes in a clear and structured mannerDefine test scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system enhancements and ensure they meet business needsSupport defect tracking and resolution in collaboration with developers and QA teamsIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvementsPropose and document enhancements to existing workflows and system functionalitiesAssist in resolving issues by analysing root causes and proposing corrective actionsMaintain up-to-date documentationSupport the team’s training in technical and operational system knowledge, client service and delivery aspects, working procedures, as well as corporate cultureTake part in projects and ad-hoc activitiesWe expect from a suitable candidate:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics or related fieldStrong knowledge in finance, with the ability to quickly grasp complex financial workflowsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and propose effective solutionsFamiliarity with the most common Business Analysis tools and notations (UML, BPMN, ER Diagrams)Experience with SCRUM / Agile methodologiesAdvanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Atlassian Tools (Confluence and Jira)Excellent communication skills in English and customer service skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt to evolving systems and processesCapable of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced situationsExcellent analytical skills, sense of prioritization and ability to learn fastTeam-oriented mindset, enjoys working in an office environment and values in-person collaborationEuropean Passport
