You will be accountable for supporting and contributing to all aspects of delivery lifecycle - this means you will be working on real world challenges.Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, in Border Management Sydney Practice, you will be a part of the Product Engineering team responsible for delivering the highest quality Products to the Business within the wider SITA organization.Are you ready to be part of the future?KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGathering requirements, developing and testing software on customer facing projects.Operate in a DevOps environment contributing to all aspects of the delivery lifecycle.Write and deliver code for components under the guidance of more experienced Developers.Script deployments using any of Python, Ruby, Python, Java, Javascript, PHP, Bash, Shell and Node.js. Design and influence direction of future solutions.Develop an understanding of coding guidelines and best practice. Use and develop Sysadmin skillsLearn requirement analysis and design techniques.    Who you areMust have a Degree at Hons level in an IT/Engineering discipline;Must obtain your degree by July 2025Must have less than 12 months’ post graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience. Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for Security Clearance baseline level. Experience in Java, and other scripting languages.Experience in unix and open source development.Have an interest in Devops and Site Reliability EngineeringExperience creating a potential solution to a problem.  i.e. Design Thinking or Prototyping. What you can expectParticipate in structured rotations allowing you great exposure to different teams and technologies.Get assigned to a Buddy and a Mentor that will guide you throughout your Graduate experience.Be a part of a Graduate community - both local and global.Have access to both Technical and soft skills development training. WHAT WE OFFER We're all about diversity.
