Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.Management Level DefinitionContributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. We are looking for an extremely motivated engineer, who is interested in building carrier-grade networking infrastructure, in a fast-paced cutting-edge environment.What You’ll DoMember of the highly dynamic and agile team with responsibilities including Cloud, Analytics, Monitoring and PluginsDesign and implement solutions using open-source technologies that can leverage the 128T extensibility featureContribute towards improving the usability and extensibility of the 128T softwareExperience with software security features pertaining to network securityKeen eye for software design patterns to create robust client libraries for the 128T plugin SDKImplement software recognizing and anticipating patterns in network traffic to send to SaaS infrastructureDevelop infrastructure for mining network dataIdentify and improve the efficiency, scalability, operability of the productWork closely with all departments including Development, Product Management, Sales and Support to ensure timely delivery of quality softwareParticipate in design and code reviewsEducation And Experience RequiredB.S or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field1+ years' experience developing large-scale software systemsComputer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, problem solving, and complexity analysisStrong grasp of programming in Python.
