You'll lead a talented engineering team to deliver a robust, scalable platform that supports rapid customer growth while helping shape the processes, culture, and architecture for the next stage of our journey.The Role and TeamAs Software Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team building critical components of our SaaS platform, balancing execution speed with technical excellence. You'll provide hands-on technical guidance, build scalable systems, and help your team thrive in an environment that's growing quickly and changing fast.You'll work closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering leaders to deliver features that delight customers, while also laying the groundwork for scale: from architecture to hiring.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of high-performing software engineers, helping them grow in capability and confidence.Collaborate with Product and Design to define and deliver against ambitious roadmaps.Balance short-term delivery with long-term scalability, performance, and technical debt management.Drive engineering best practices: CI/CD, code quality, observability, and operational excellence.Contribute to architectural design decisions as we scale globally and support increasing customer demand.Actively recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent as we grow the team.Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on product impact.Occasionally roll up your sleeves and dive into technical discussions or code when needed.YouYou're a builder and a coach. You thrive in high-growth environments where things move fast and the playbook isn't fully written.Experience & Skills7+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years managing or leading teams in a product-driven environment.Proven experience scaling SaaS platforms (ideally in B2B or multi-tenant environments).Strong technical foundation in modern languages and frameworks (e.g. Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Python, Java).Experience designing and maintaining cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Skilled in agile delivery and continuous deployment in fast-paced settings.Excellent communicator who can balance technical depth with strategic thinking.Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at bringing clarity and direction.The Offer€115-125k base salary (depending on experience)Bonus (10-15%)Stock optionsPension, health Join a fast-growing Series B SaaS company backed by top-tier investorsReal influence over technology direction, team structure, and engineering cultureHybrid working environment built on trust, flexibility, and autonomy.Process: 3 interviews (initial call with HR, 2nd with CTO and 3rd with team)
