Software Test Engineer

Job Title: Test EngineerLocation: Gdansk, Poland - Hybrid: 3-4 Days to Office Every WeekDuration: 6 Months - Extendable to long TermEmployment Type: Contract B2BNon standard work week: from Sunday to Thursday, regular working hoursRoles & Responsibilities:Develop and execute detailed test plans for AR/VR hardware and software features.Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, embedded, desktop).Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.3-10 years of experience in software/hardware testing or QA roles.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, pytest) is a plus.Familiarity with AR/VR devices, sensors, or embedded systems is highly desirable.Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.Experience with hardware validation, firmware testing, or device bring-up.Knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, or 3D graphics testing workflows.Comfort working in fast-paced, experimental environments.
