To conduct performance tests, analyze data, and develop simulation models for system optimization. Requires experience in manual and automated testing, debugging, reporting proficiency in simulation tools, and strong problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesGet familiar with simulation facilities and grow up with knowledge of CBTC system Deploy software at lab and make sure all units are up and running Work with designer to do lab upgrading based on requirements Perform in-house testing based on test plan provided Analysis and troubleshoot for any lab issues Send clear email reports upon work completion Work with engineering team for simulation of any revenue issuesCoordinate with customer for lab usage to avoid any schedule clashSupport other engineering work when there is a need from project level. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer, System Design Engineering or equivalent Curious and willing to learn technical skills fast and on the fly Good analytical and problem-solving skills Have strong communication skills to interface with customers and Hitachi Rail personnel around the globe Willingness to collaborate with teams overseas, which requires occasional evening calls Excellent interpersonal and technical writing skills in EnglishProven ability to work within a teamExperience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby Knowledge of windows, Linux operating system.
