Are you an experienced professional with a background in quality control and renewable energy industry? We are seeking a top-tier Inspection Engineer to join our Inspection eam. You will be joining STS, a leading group in the global renewable energy sector. With operations in fourteen countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, our team is made up of dedicated professionals who share a passion for technology, quality, and sustainability.Position OverviewAs an Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing pre-dispatch (production supervision, factory acceptance tests, pre-shipment inspections) and post-dispatch inspections for renewable energy equipment (solar modules, energy storage systems, wind turbines, inverters).Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the projects requirements.Participate to the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection rules and schedule.Verify the conditions on site (5M methodology) prior to performing the inspection.Witness the testing progress by analyzing measurement and filling-in the checklist for each item to be inspected.Monitor the testing lead time to ensure the completion within the agreed schedule.Report to the Project Manager the findings observed on site during the inspection.Fill-in the inspection report, based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.Suggest ameliorations to the supplier to improve the inspected product and the testing conditions.Propose improvement of the inspection methodology.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor in a technical field, or above, preferably in renewable energy or a related field.At least 3 years experience in Quality Control (factory or on-site), or at least 3 years experience in a technical position in renewable energies.Highly proficient in spoken and written English.80+% of time on the inspection site is requested.STS – At the Forefront of the Global Renewable Energy IndustryAt STS, we serve as technical advisors, auditors, and inspectors, empowering our clients - including major renewable energy project developers, owners, operators, and IPPs - to make sustainable decisions for every aspect of their projects.
