Solution Architect - (Public Sector)

OverviewAt Xtremax, we help government agencies and enterprises build robust, scalable, and future-ready digital systems. As a Solution Architect,you will play a key role in defining the end-to-end architecture, translating business requirements into technical designs, and ensuring solutions align with the Customer's enterprise architecture. This role combines technical leadership, system design, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver impactful digital solutions. Candidates with public sector experience are preferred, as this role supports IT projects for government agencies.Responsibility:Architecture Design & GovernanceDefine the end-to-end architecture for systems and ensure detailed design aligns with the customer's enterprise architectureTranslate business and application resiliency requirements into architectural specificationsDesign and maintain the architecture blueprint of the organisation's business, information, and ICT assets using multiple architectural modelsGovern and enhance the architecture blueprint to align business and ICT strategiesSolutioning & Technology AlignmentPropose products and solutions that comply with the customer's enterprise architecture and standardsEvaluate and recommend technologies that align with the customer's technology direction (e.g., cloud adoption, enterprise architecture, legacy system modernization, SG Tech Stack)Development & ReviewReview source code and solutions as part of the software development lifecycleProvide technical leadership in system and architecture design, focusing on performance efficiency, cost optimization, security, reliability, sustainability, and operational excellenceRequirementsMust HaveDegree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplineMust have 2-5 years of relevant experienceProven experience as a tech lead or system architect, with expertise in system design, performance tuning, prototyping, and maintenanceStrong hands-on experience in full project development lifecyclesSolid technical expertise in .NET and/or J2EE application design and implementationStrong data modelling and SQL skillsIn-depth understanding of server-side .NET and/or Java development, Microservice Architecture, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), web services, and public-facing websites/e-servicesAbility to evaluate and recommend technologies aligned with the Customer's technology direction (e.g., cloud adoption, enterprise architecture, legacy system modernization, SG Tech Stack)Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design comprehensive and practical solutionsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholdersResults-driven and customer-oriented mindsetStrong organizational and people management skillsGood to HaveExperience with Singapore Government Project will be advantageousExperience in cloud-native architectures and modern development practicesFamiliarity with government technology frameworks, SG Tech Stack and digital transformation projectsCertificate Preferred:Cloud Solution Architect Certification (AWS, Azure or GCP) or equivalentTOGAF or SEI Software Architect Certification or IASA Certified IT Architect Profession or equivalentBenefitsBy submitting your resume/CV, you consent and agree to allow the information provided to be used and processed by or on behalf of Xtremax Pte Ltd for purposes related to your registration of interest in current or future employment with us and for the processing of your application for employment.You also represent to us that you have obtained the consent of your referees when you disclose to us their personal data for the purpose of conducting reference checks.The personal data held by us relating to your application will be kept strictly confidential and in accordance with the PDPA.
