Join us and let’s build the future.Job SummaryAs part of Belden’s Solution Consultants and Services team, you will lead and execute the technical strategies and initiatives defined with the regional sales teams. Starting from lead nurturing to solution delivery, the Solution Consultant is a technical partner of the solution salesforce and supports regional organic growth by converting customers’ ideas and visions into customized One Belden solutions enabling guaranteed business outcomes.You will make an impact in the following way:Drive Belden funnel growth and success rate through developing and delivering outcome-based technical solutions for customers in the Industrial market, with specific focus on the Public Transportation marketProvide technical leadership in responding to Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Tender submissionsTake ownership in the preparation of technical proposals for complex end-to-end solutions encompassing Wired, Wireless, Cellular networking technologies, and associated software solutionsProvide technical leadership in developing Industrial Networking solutions that utilize the capability of all Belden brands, ecosystem partners and 3rd party productsCollaborate with the Solution Support team in the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs), Factory Acceptance Test (FATs), and network auditsDemonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key industrial networking technologies and market trends in the Transportation vertical (Mass Rapid Transit, monorails, people movers), including Industrial Ethernet, Wi-Fi and cellular technologiesCo-create solution presentation with Solution Architect for Mass Transit/Transportation VerticalProvide technical/market insights to internal teams to enable project wins.What you will bring:Education- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with a focus on IT or Industrial AutomationBackground-At least 5 years of experience in solution creation in an Industrial or Enterprise environmentProven track record within a sales and service role, with a focus on technical consulting and consultative salesWell versed in wired and wireless IP networking technologies, with strong fundamentals in Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and cellular communication protocolsWorking knowledge of MPLS-TP and IP/MPLS networks with understanding on unicast, multicast and routing protocols is an advantageExperience within the Transportation industry (End-users, System Integrator, Solution provides) is preferableCompetencies- Ability to create CVP‘s (Customer Viable Product) with multi-product solutions and technologiesStrong know-how and experience in Networking systems and applications relating to the Transportation industryIndependent and self-sufficient, with a proven ability to take initiative, manage tasks without constant supervision, and make sound decisions autonomouslyExcellent critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations, break down problems, and develop effective solutions quicklyHighly collaborative team player with a passion for continuous learning and growthLet’s Write the Next 100 Years Together.
