Solution Engineer – Japan Market

As a Solution Engineer – Japanese in our Tokyo office, you’ll work closely with the business counterparts in Sales and Account Management to drive success for Taboola’s worldwide advertisers. You are responsible for proactively onboarding new Advertisers, monitoring delivery and performance across a book of business and can be tapped for client meetings/engagements with their counterparts to consult on in-depth technical recommendations, best practices and optimization strategies. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact to address any technical issue/concern within their book of business.To thrive in this role, you’ll need:Fluency in Japanese is a mustB.Tech / B.E / BSC IT graduates with at least 3 years of Experience as technical solutions or support roles, preferably in the ad tech industry with hands on experience.Working experience with SQL, Google Analytics, JavaScript, CSS/HTML, APIs and Mobile SDKsExperience with the ecosystem of ad networks, DSPs, audience targeting and technology, online measurement, ad operations and ad buyingExperience in tracking implementation methods (Shopify, WordPress, DCM, etc.) – an advantageExperience in product implementation, specially experience with pixel implementation on customers’ websites S2S and cookies – a big advantageFamiliarity with Google Tag Manager as well as mobile measurement partners (Appsflyer, Adjust, Kochava, Branch, etc.) – a big advantageFamiliarity with attribution models, testing frameworks, and privacy regulations.Firm grasp of digital media industry , ad serving technologies, platforms and toolsExperience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, and/or clientsAbility to optimize campaigns for complex clients focused on performance goalsAbility to demonstrate measurable impact of campaign strategy and to deliver customer-focused resultsExperience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive sellingKnowledge of business processes, workflows, and ability to provide structured formal documentationStrong customer service skills; ability to translate technical investigations and analysis into actions for customersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to build effective relationshipsAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, understand urgency and prioritize appropriatelyAbility to understand business objectives and partner with them to achieve key resultsHow you’ll make an impact:As a Japanese Solution Engineer, you will:Technical onboarding for new advertisers. Owning responsibility for the End2End technical onboarding process , Taboola pixel implementation , conversion tracking , performance and health analysis.Building an in-depth knowledge of how Taboola advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.Owning and implementing executional tasks associated with setup and delivery, and providing consultation to the business and customer on best practices.Perform technical troubleshooting to identify and proactively solve onboarding related issues.Driving performance for top advertisers.Performing detailed End2End campaign performance analysis and providing optimization recommendations to increase revenue.Proactively overseeing and managing campaign level performance, advising on delivery and KPI attainment.Surfacing verticalized best practices, insights, trends and benchmarks to aid performance.Design methodologies and tools to improve the customer service and the team’s troubleshooting abilityDomain owner in ad ad serving platform/tools , continually optimize the platform usage and provide up to date best practices.Both areas collaborate with the business teams and work directly with external customers’ product and technical teams to successfully integrate with Taboola’s productsWhy Taboola?If you ask Taboolars what they love about working here, they’ll tell you that they’ve been empowered to realize their full potential while growing and learning from and with smart and talented people.
