With a presence in over 100 countries and a commitment to innovation and sustainability, DeLaval partners with dairy farmers worldwide to improve productivity, profitability, and animal welfare.Cureently, to our Global Indirect Sourcing Team we are looking for:Sourcing Manager Indirect (MRO, Facility Management, HR & Marketing)Location: WrocławPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Sourcing Manager Indirect to lead and optimize our sourcing activities across critical indirect categories including MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), Facility Management, HR Services, and Marketing & Communication primarily within the EMEA region.This role requires a self-driven professional with exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop and execute category strategies that deliver measurable value to the organization.As Sourcing Manager Indirect, you will work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. You will be responsible for developing category strategies, leading complex negotiations, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support DeLaval's operational excellence and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Strategy & ManagementDevelop and implement comprehensive category strategies for Maintenance, Repair & Operations, Facility Management, HR Services, and Marketing & Communication aligned with DeLaval's business objectivesConduct thorough market analysis, spend analysis, and supplier landscape assessments to identify opportunities for cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creationDefine and execute sourcing roadmaps with clear milestones, KPIs, and performance metrics for each categoryMonitor category performance and market trends, adjusting strategies proactively to respond to changing business needs and market conditionsSupplier Management & NegotiationsLead end-to-end sourcing processes including RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ), supplier evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations for assigned categoriesNegotiate complex contracts and framework agreements ensuring favorable terms, conditions, pricing structures, and SLA commitmentsEstablish and maintain strategic supplier relationships, conducting regular business reviews and performance assessmentsDrive supplier development initiatives and collaborate with suppliers on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement programsManage supplier risk through diversification strategies, contract compliance monitoring, and contingency planningStakeholder Engagement & CollaborationBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across EMEA including Operations, Facilities, HR, Marketing, Finance, and IT functionsAct as trusted advisor to business partners, understanding their requirements and securing them in the contractsFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and stakeholder buy-in, especially by strategy creationCommunicate category strategies, initiatives, and results effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levelsFollow the stakeholder’s purchase compliance via verification of P2P process in SAP ARIBACost savingsDeliver annual cost savings and cost avoidance targets for assigned categoriesDevelop detailed spend analytics and reporting using advanced Excel techniques and procurement toolsTrack and report on category KPIs including savings realization, contract compliance, supplier performance, and stakeholder satisfactionSupport budget planning processes and provide accurate forecasts for category spendIdentify and quantify value creation opportunities beyond cost reduction (e.g., process efficiency, quality improvement, risk mitigation)Process Improvement & ComplianceDrive standardization and process optimization across EMEA to increase efficiency and reduce complexityEnsure compliance with corporate procurement policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standardsImplement and promote best practices in indirect procurement across the organizationSupport digitalization initiatives and leverage e-procurement tools and systemsRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field;Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, or category management with focus on indirect categoriesProven track record in managing MRO, Facility Management, HR Services, and/or Marketing & Communication categoriesExperience working in international, matrix organizations with responsibility across multiple countries, preferably in EMEA regionDemonstrated success in developing category strategies and delivering measurable cost savings and value creationCore CompetenciesStrong critical thinking skills to evaluate information objectively, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutionsOutstanding stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence and build consensus across diverse groupsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to adapt messaging to different audiencesStrong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilitiesAbility to manage expectations and navigate complex organizational dynamicsStrategic mindset with ability to balance short-term results with long-term value creationStrong commercial awareness and understanding of total cost of ownership principlesUnderstanding of contract law, terms and conditions, and risk
