The role will entail close alignment with Engineering, Quality and Sourcing functions, as well as other key stakeholders, and will be focusing on Direct materials.You'll manage dynamic priorities, necessitating minimal guidance, and emphasize effective communication with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and suppliers.What We OfferA key role in a dynamic, international working environment with a large degree of flexibility of work agreements, competitive benefits, and great development opportunities.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Executes the follow-up activities of the purchase orders (POs)Manages relationships with suppliers for PO execution.Manages progress problems and schedule changes.Keeps ERP updated with most recent and accurate forecast.Ensures smooth supplier payment activities.Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experienceUnderstands how work of own team contributes to the area.Resolves issues using established procedures and technical expertise.Collaborates with Engineering and other stake holders to ensure Quality and On Time Delivery.Lead discussions with suppliers during execution in case of claims, PO changes in coordination with the Project.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain/Business/EconomyExperience: at least junior level of experience in Sourcing/Procurement Or Engineering Or Manufacturing activities.Tools: Solid Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) skills.Personality: Self-directed, detail-oriented, organized, and flexibleLanguage: Fluent EnglishDesired Characteristics (Nice To Have)Commodities: Experience in Power Plant CommoditiesTools: SmartsheetEducation: Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or in a similar disciplineLanguage: French or German Language is an adderIndustry experience: in the Energy industry / Hydropower projects is a strong plusAbility and ownership to drive improvements and change with tangible results.
