The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Candidate should have at least two years of experience in Butchery. Candidate should be ready to work under pressure during busy operation. Monitors the preparation of food for special orders, buffets, VIP requests and other functions as required. Candidate must focus more on quality of food. Knife skill in high standards and portioning method. Tracking usage, rotation FIFO, ordering and minimizing spoilage. About you:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel, resort, or high-volume kitchen. Strong foundation in basic culinary techniques, including food preparation, knife skills, and cooking methods. Enforces safety procedures and cleanliness throughout the section of the kitchen he/she is responsible for. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Ability to follow recipes, maintain consistency, and support senior chefs in daily operations. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Culinary diploma/certificate or equivalent training (preferred but not mandatory).
