Position: Spare Parts Manager Location: Kathmandu, Nepal Company: A reputed automobiles companyAbout the Role:We are looking for a proactive and experienced Spare Parts Manager who will lead our spare parts operations and contribute to business growth. You will oversee procurement, inventory, sales, supplier relationships and the entire parts value-chain to ensure high availability, cost-control and excellent service.Key Responsibilities:1. Lead and manage the spare parts department – procurement, inventory control, pricing, distribution & sales.2. Develop and implement strategies to optimise stock levels, reduce obsolescence and improve turnover.3. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of parts. 4. Coordinate with service, workshop, sales and logistics teams to ensure parts availability aligns with operational needs. 5. Monitor performance through KPIs (stock-turnover, fill-rate, back-orders, obsolete inventory), report to senior management and take corrective actions.6. Lead, train and develop a team of parts professionals (warehouse, counter sales, logistics), fostering a high-performance culture.7. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and best practices in parts operations.Qualifications & Requirements:1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent. 2. At least 5 years’ experience (or more) in automotive spare-parts management or after-sales environment—ideally with 3+ years in a managerial role.3. Proven knowledge of inventory management principles, spare-parts sourcing, supply-chain, ERP/DMS systems. 4. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills; ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple priorities.5.
