This position offers a dynamic blend of operational responsibility, customer interaction, and compliance expertise in a fast-paced, international environment.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and ensure timely import & export shipment processingOptimize and document operational procedures and workflowsProvide expert support and consultation to customersManage customs clearance and related documentationCommunicate with customers, agents, and service providersPrepare and follow up on quotations; conduct sales negotiationsProcess and secure customer invoicesMonitor deadlines and ensure accurate invoicingPrepare Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, delivery notes, customs documents, etc.Handle Dangerous Goods shipments in full compliance with applicable regulationsQualificationsCompleted commercial apprenticeship in international forwarding, Education in business administration2 - 4 years of professional experience in international freight forwarding with ocean freightFluent Germany and English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plusQuick comprehension and a precise, reliable working styleIndependent, efficient, and accurate work ethicEnthusiastic team player with a proactive mindsetWhat AIT Can Offer YouIn addition to a competitive salary and benefits package , we offer great programs for our employees .
