They are involved in various meetings and events, such as VITS 2023 and Tech Talks, and discussions about topics like AI, Agile, and Microsoft 365.What You Will Be DoingInstalls/Configure and Maintains SQL Server(2016,2017, 2019, 2022) and manages older version of SQL Server(2012, 2014)Extensive Knowledege on Standalone, Failover Clustering and Always on environmentsParticipates in logical design process of strategic projects and responsible for the physical design/implementationCreates physical database objectives following established standards and processes employed by database teamMaintains excellent customer service at all times with internal and external clientsFollows Change Management and Incident management, Problem ManagementShould be Willing to work on 24/7 Rotational shiftsExperience on installing, configuring, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting various version of SQL Server i.e., SQL Server 2019/2016/2012/2008R2/ in Production, Test, Development and Clustered EnvironmentsExperience in upgrading SQL Server software to new versions and applying service packs and hotfixesExperience in Database Backup (Full, Differential and Transaction Backup) and Recovery procedureAnalyzing and finding performance issues like query tuning, enabling appropriate flags to solve deadlocks/long running queries and Using Performance Monitor/Profiler to identify the root causes for performance issues to fix the issueExperience in managing the SSIS, SSRS services in the production cluster & non cluster environmentExperience in providing HA solutions like mirroring, Log shipping, replication, clustering & ALWAYSONExperience in Migration activities between datacentersWhat You Bring7 – 10 years relative experience as an SQL DBAGood knowledge in SQL installations (SQL Server 2016, 2019), Database creation and maintenanceGood Knowledge on Database Administration activities (like Backup, Recovery, High availability Solutions and Replication)Good Troubleshooting and problem management skillsGood Knowledge on SQL Stored Procedures,Should have knowledge on SQL Server Architecture Should be a good team player and ready to work with other team members to resolve issuesShould be Willing to provide Full shift/Oncall support during weekends on rotation Should be Willing to learn new technologiesGood Knowledge in TSQL Scripting, Writing Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning of Queries and Power Shell scriptingKnowledge on Azure SQL , PAASGood experience in T-SQL, Azure, Cloud technologies will be an added advantageWhat We Offer YouAn exciting opportunity be a part of World’s Leading FinTech Product MNCTo be a part of vibrant team and to build up a career on core banking/payments domainCompetitive salary and attractive benefits including GHMI/ Hospitalization coverage for employee and direct dependentsA multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunitiesA broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities – FIS is your final career stepPrivacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
